Best known for her role as Princess Leia in the original Star Wars franchise, Carrie Fisher became a household name in the late ’70s and early ’80s. The starlet also landed roles in classic films, including When Harry Met Sally and The Blues Brothers. Fisher was born to movie star, Debbie Reynolds, and ’50s pop singer, Eddie Fisher. She was essentially bred into the Hollywood scene. When later asked whether she feared death during an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the longtime actress corrected, “No, I fear dying. Anything with pain associated with it, I don’t like”. On December 27, 2016, Fisher passed away at the age of 60. She suffered a heart attack while on-board a charter flight to Los Angeles, California.
